CHETTINAD CHICKEN

chicken which is a very favorite dish of every non vegetarian. It is one of my favorite too.

INGREDIENTS

  1. Cinnamon : 2 gms

  2. cardamon : 2 gms

  3. cloves : 2 gms

  4. stare anise : 2 gms

  5. pepper corns : 2 gms

  6. black cardamon : 2 gms

  7. curry leaves : 1 bunch small

  8. fennel seeds : 2 gms

  9. dry grated coconut : 5 gms

  10. dry red chillies : 4 nos

  11. chicken : 250 gms

  12. ginger garlic paste : 3/4 tsp

  13. turmeric : pinch

  14. chilli powder : 1 tsp

  15. salt to taste

  16. oil : 2 tsp

  17. caraway seeds : 1 tsp

  18. coriender powder : 1 tsp

  19. onions : 1no

  20. tomatoes : 1 no

  21. coriender chop fresh 

METHOD OF  PREPARATION

  1. Take a pan and add all the masalas and dry roast it .

  2. Blend all those dry roast masalas in a blender tell it becomes fine powder.

  3. Then take a bowl  add chicken , salt, ginger garlic paste, redchilli powder, turmeric powder and oil .

  4. Marinate the chicken and keep it aside for 25 to 30 mins.

  5. Take a pan add oil let it heat up and add caraway seeds, onions and saute it 

  6. In that add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, chilli powder and salt mix it well then add marinated chicken.

  7. Leve it by covering a lid for 5 mins and after that add tomatos and chettinadu masala cook for more time by adding some water .

  8. Then at last add coriender powder and freshly choped coriender leaves.

  9. Serve hot with rice ,chapathi and pulka.
