CARAMEL CUSTARD

caramel custard is very popular through out the world , caramel is the layer that is there on the top of the custard and it is a milk base pudding which is baked by double boiling method it is very easy to prepare in cooker or oven.

caramel custard is very popular through out the world , caramel is the layer that is there on the top of the custard and it is a milk base pudding which is baked by double boiling method it is very easy to prepare in cooker or oven.

INGREDIENTS

sugar for making caramel 50 gms
milk 100 ml
egg 1no
sugar in milk 30 gms
vanilla essence 2 ml
nut meg 1 blade
grease the caramel mold with butter


METHOD OF PREPARATION

1. take the non stick pan add sugar and heat it till it gets in to lite golden brown colour.
2. when it is caramel then you switch off the flame and take the spoon add the caramel in greased caramel molds and cool it down.
3.take a bowl in that add milk, sugar,eggs,vanilla essence and nutmeg and mix till the sugar is dissolved.
4.take the caramel molds that are cooled in that add the custard and keep it in a water bath for baking. 
5. pre heat the pressure cooker for 3 to 5 mins in a low flame.
6. take the caramel custard with the water bath keep it in a pre heated cooker and bake it for  35 mins
7.after 35 min just check the caramel custard and its read to have.....
